Our story
Velaire began with a simple idea: that buying a home on the water should feel as calm as living in one. We take on fewer clients than most firms, we know every building we sell in, and we tell people the truth, even when it costs us the listing.
How we got here
- 2012A desk in BrickellTwo brokers, one phone line and a list of twelve buildings we knew better than anyone.
- 2015The first island saleA Sunset Islands home sold privately in nine days. Word travelled across the bay.
- 2018Going internationalWe opened a desk for buyers from Brazil, Argentina and Spain, with advisers in their own languages.
- 2021New developmentsDevelopers began asking us to represent their towers from the first sketches.
- 2026Velaire todayFourteen people, six neighbourhoods and a deliberately short list of homes.
